Bangkok is the most important place to be visited in Thailand. Also being the capital city it is the largest in Thailand. There are 50 districts or popularly known as khets. It is a traditional city where you can enjoy the rich culture and traditions.

Ratchadaphisek is especially popular among Asian tourists since the area is packed with a great choice of seafood restaurants, mid-range hotels, massage parlours, shopping malls and night entertainments. And nowadays, it can be easily reached by subway.

The diverse history and a perfect blend of different culture is the major attraction. The Buddha Temple and the museums are best known for their architecture and finest piece of work.

National Museum is located within walking distance of the Grand Palace. Inside it houses Thailand’s artistic treasures from prehistoric to contemporary, making it a great place to appreciate Thai arts.

This museum houses a fantastic collection of art from South East Asia. It is housed in a lovely traditional building which was once the palace of Rama I’s viceroy. It is pleasant to walk around, and although the facilities are not modern it retains a definite charm…… Marie T, Huaraz.

Apart from the destinations there are many shopping centers where you can enjoy shopping with bargaining.

Phuket Island is 50km long and you’re never far from the sea at any given point. Phuket is located south of Thailand with spectacular beaches, crystal clear water, magnificent sunsets and amazing scenic landscapes.

Phuket Island itself is mainly granite, with low forested mountains and a series of fine white-sand beaches, mostly on the west coast. Much of the forest has been cleared, first for rubber plantations and then for tourism development. The one remaining significant stand of virgin rainforest — Khao Phra Thaeo Park — is worth a visit.

It is most popular place in Asia just for its fascinating beaches. The different beaches are Karon Beach, Kamala Beach, Surin Beach and many others. One can enjoy scuba diving and the dazzling nightlife.

Karon is just a few minutes’ taxi ride from Kata, but has none of Kata’s noisy buzz. If you want to slumber in quiet, without being too far from the party, Karon is the beach for you.

It is just perfect for a family vacation to explore the beauty of Phuket.

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai sometimes written as “Chiengmai” or “Chiangmai”, is the largest and most culturally significant city in northern Thailand. It is the capital of Chiang Mai Province, a former capital of the Kingdom of Lanna (1296–1768) and was the tributary Kingdom of Chiang Mai from 1774 until 1939.

However, it is the second largest among all the cities of Thailand. It is a popular tourist destination because of the natural attractions.

An almost countless number of waterfalls, caves, mountain peaks and national parks can be found on the provincial capital’s immediate doorstep or within a very reasonable distance from the city center.

Every year the number of visitors visiting this place is increasing. The natural and scenic beauty of nature will definitely catch your eyes. Explore some of the finest museums at the Chiang Mal full of history and culture.

The Chiang Mai National Museum, built in the style of an old Lanna building, is under Royal Patronage and is located near Wat Jet Yod, which itself dates back to 1455 and was built by King Tilokrat.

There are several Buddhist temples to visit. The most appreciated festival is the Handicrafts Festival organized every year in January. You can check other festivals and event in Chiang Mai at gochiangmai.

Pattaya or Phatthaya is popular with tourists and expatriates. It is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about 165 km southeast of Bangkok within but not part of Amphoe Bang Lamung (Banglamung) in the province of Chonburi.

It has famous drinks to try and also the exquisite bars. One of the favorite drinks is the melon ice drink. Some other popular popular drinks are iced coffee with rice balls, iced condensed milk, ice drink, lemon soda, citrus banana punch, mango syrup, creamed coconut, coconut juice, yoghurt soda and tamarind drink.

Without visiting Pattaya your trip is incomplete.

Pattaya sightseeings that attract visitors would not be just the enormous Buddha Image, the panoramic view of the city on the hill, nor famous temples around the city.

These attractions truly do interest visitors, but there also are a number of attractions that offers visitors different experience when traveling Pattaya.

Sanctuary of truth, for example, let tourists visit the entirely and beautifully wooden building that is impossible to find anywhere else. Silverlake Winery, Pattaya Floating Market, and Mini Siam are also recommended places in Pattaya.

History of Krabi From archaeological discoveries, it is believed that Krabi was one of the oldest communities in Thailand dating from the prehistoric period. It is also believed that Krabi was once the town of Ban Thai Samo, one of 12 royal cities that used a monkey as the town symbol.

This coastal province covers an area of 4,709 square kilometers and is located 814 kilometres south of Bangkok. Krabi’s major attractions are located largely along its extensive coastline, which contains several well-known beaches and bays, and numerous offshore tropical islands.

Here you will get to enjoy perfect beach destinations. The hotels are easily available.

Apart from the world famous Phi Phi Islands, the province is also famous for the stunning limestone cliffs and rock formations which make it a mecca for rock climbers. Large numbers of tourists in Phuket usually make a side trip to Phi Phi Islands, or further eastwards to Krabi proper.

Definitely one of the best days I had in Thailand. Bob and ‘Bank’ were brilliant hosts! This is an absolute must when visiting Phi Phi! One tip, stay poker straight when cliff jumping, I still have a sore ar*e from hitting the water! Thanks for a wonderful experience Bob! From the loopy Irish girls and the mad Scots men…… Elanna_12, Perth, Western Australia, Australia.
